William F. Collins, AIA Architects, LLP has an extensive, multi-year history of involvement in Life Safety projects, both from a Design and Project Management perspective. NYC Local Law 11 of 1998 was passed by the City Council of New York as a response to the highly publicized exterior wall failures that took place in the city in 1997 and 1998. Local Law 11 Inspections are done to assess the soundness of building facades. All building that have six stories or more are subject to this inspection.

WFC has assumed a leadership role on behalf of Verizon to manage the various components involved in implementation and ensuring that the end product was cohesive and consistent throughout the various regions and engineers. With so much at stake, WFC was proud to head up a program of such magnitude and importance to a Fortune 500 company such as Verizon. Thanks to the efforts of the entire project team, this program is making Verizon’s high-rise New York City buildings immeasurably safer for their occupants and the people of NYC.
