Barclay Vesey Building

High-Rise Executive Offices on 31st Floor

SOLUTION

For the last quarter century the Executive Floor had been virtually abandoned.  Original intended use had long since faded from necessity leaving behind only their dilapidated remains.  The most disheartening alteration that had occurred was the removal of the original auditorium and the covering over the historic monumental windows which distinguish the upper towers of 140 West St. from its neighboring skyscrapers. Recently restored to their original grandeur after decades of neglect, the monumental windows are now once again unveiled to provide a wealth of natural light that fills the corridors on a floor of the upper tower.
