Bethpage Federal Credit Union at Long Island University C.W. Post Campus is a technology driven design to appeal to the students and faculty alike.  The physical location of the interior space on the second floor of Hillwood Common’s posed a challenge to the Credit Union to define a presence at the end of low visibility corridor.  WFC’s design responded to the low exposure area by removing the entire wall and opening the Credit Union space to the extents of the corridor.  Further by extending the architectural elements of the ceiling soffits, saw tooth flooring design, and branding on a full height back lit LED acrylic wall into the corridor made the Credit Unions presence known.  The ceiling soffits contain custom programmable LED lighting system enabling light shows using BFCU brand colors.

The design included custom built-in interactive video monitors that enable students to open new accounts and obtain loan information.  The Technology Bar within the ATM vestibule contains concealed smart phone inductive charging (wireless charging) stations made available to students 24/7.  The Branch manager maintains an open office within the back of the ATM vestibule behind a clear glass partition that is opened during business hours. The back office area further enhances the student’s accessibility to banking by offering use of the (3) PC’s and Bethpage manager support for loan applications and online banking with the Credit Union.
