SOLUTION
WFC was recently retained by Select Energy Services, Inc. to replace the existing curtain wall and skylight system. Originally constructed in 1971 and remodeled in 1977, the atrium has long been a source of chronic and perpetual leakage. The skylight is approximately 432 feet long and tapers from 5 feet to 30 feet totaling 19,025 square feet. The curtain wall portion is approximately 192 feet long and 64 feet high at its highest point totaling 13,082 square feet. Our goal is to increase the building’s energy efficiency, maintain safe and continuous access and egress throughout construction, and enhance the overall appearance.
