Verizon’s FIOS Local Presence Centers (LPS’s) were established in response to federally mandated regulation by the FCC to provide FIOS television customers local retail support to pay bills, add services, obtain equipment, obtain technical support and experience the FIOS television service.

WFC, having now completed 11 Verizon LPC’s, this latest LPC located within a new multi-tenant retail complex in revitalized downtown Brooklyn comprised new design challenges to the retail standards of previously completed LPC’s; from extensive ceiling heights to coordination of new building infrastructure of multiple tenant permits, all of the design features were incorporated to add a dramatic flair to the FIOS experience. The most notable design feature is the multi level open ceiling plan of mixed materials and lighting, that create an alluring effect to passersby. All finishes and millwork were custom tailored for this specific space. The floor layout was designed to optimize the function of the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Through WFC’s ability to project manage an extensive network of contractors, consultants and expeditors from fire suppression, fire alarm and mechanical systems to millwork, security and IT, the target store open date was met after an unyielding 8 week schedule.
